I chose the name MavenKind because it’s a community, first and foremost. It’s a community of women, those who identify on the femme spectrum, allies, it’s those who align with our social values. Social values which include, Love is Love, BIPOC Lives Matter, let’s take care of the environment and one another, and cannabis can be truly helpful in solving some of the things that we deal with, collectively, in a natural way. Maven means expert. And the word Maven itself is rooted in both masculine and feminine definitions so the word itself is non-binary. Currently the cannabis world is bro culture. It just is. It is mostly owned and run and manufactured and marketed to – white cis men. I wanted to offer not only products that are geared more towards women and those identifying that way, but also a community where we can connect and work together to lift one another up, showcase eachother’s talents – what we are Mavens at, and at the same time breakdown the stigma of cannabis. It’s about Community, Cannabis, Kindness. Also, “Kind” is an old school term for the best type of cannabis – so it just works in every way.

Our cannabis is grown using the most earth friendly, organic practices possible with no pesticides whatsoever. I am very cognizant of what I put in my body and I know that fans of Mavenkind will be as well. So I’m very picky about who grows our cannabis – they have to give the plant the reverence that I do. It shows up in the quality of the product.

Any THC products need to be purchased at a dispensary. The dispensaries carrying our products are listed under each product page. You can click over to that dispensary from our page, fill out an online order, then simply go and pick it up! Don’t forget to bring your ID, and don’t forget it’s either cash only or a debit card at all Massachusetts dispensaries right now. Many of them have ATM’s right on site.

All of the other non-THC products that you see on our shown in our shop you can order right through our website, and can expect delivery in 5-7 business days.
